After over 20 years training with professional trainers, Lucy is the first dog I have trained without the assistance of a pro trainer. She never spent a night in a kennel truck, was never was “forced to a pile”, and she never refused to fetch anything. She can work herself into a lather on a -5 degree day hunting early winter spruce hens. She’s small enough to fit nicely in the front seat with us as we cruse the wilderness roads and big enough to cross icy water to fetch a Canada Goose.

At 7years old, she is a bit white under her chin. She is calm until we get out the bumpers or the guns. She is confident in her place here moving over when the adopted girls need reassurance. She is well loved and knows it.
